A play on my nana's pound cake recipe adding blueberries to this moist flavorful dessert.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. butter
  • 1 lb. sugar
  • 1 lb. flour
  • 1 dozen eggs separated
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp. lemon extract
  • ½ tsp. almond extract
  • ½ tsp. pineapple flavoring
  • 1 cup fresh blue berries
Instructions
  1. Cream butter & sugar together
  2. add beaten egg yolks
  3. beat well
  4. Add the almond, vanilla, lemon and pineapple flavoring
  5. add flour
  6. and beaten egg whites
  7. mix well
  8. fold in blue berries
  9. bake at 350 degrees until a toothpick comes out clean
