Let the Ornaments do the Work

For these two vases, I used  some mini red and gold Christmas balls, red and gold ribbon, gold wrapping paper and a bunch of gold and red faux shrubbery. These will look great on an entry table. Simple but elegant with the traditional colors of the holidays. Christmas ornaments make great fillers for the vases and can be used to add that extra pop of color as well.

Throw Some Candles in the Mix

This vase has a beautiful gold candle, some faux poinsettia’s and vase fillers. Decorative candles can add a nice pop to any arrangement. They come in all shapes and size and are usually pretty reasonably priced. Go ahead throw a few candles in the mix!

LED Lighting

Lighting really puts that holiday touch into your arrangements. A little lighting goes a long way in creating dimension as well. The beautiful silver and gold  faux leaves are shimmering with the extra help from the LED lighting. These LED lights are so easy to use, they come in all different colors and sizes and are battery operated. This particular set even has a timer and can be set to come on whenever you want them to. How gorgeous and efficient is that!

Add a Little Flair with some Ribbon

There are so many ways you can use ribbon to transform your vases. Make bows or use it to add a little flair. This next vase had sort of sleek design that reminded me of a women’s curves. Naturally as we women do , I thought why not add an accessory to accentuate that curve. Using a wire edged ribbon I created a sort of belt around the middle of the vase that matched the gold poinsettia and gold and green shrubbery.  This arrangement will go really well in my powder room over the holidays!
